Past Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to Elizabeth Leedon (St. Henry) and Jacob Siemer (Ryle)! They were awarded the 2013 Scott Christian Memorial Scholarship.

The purpose of the Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Foundation is to perpetuate the memory of this fine outstanding young man by promoting soccer among youth soccer players and establishing an educational scholarship. Each year a female and male senior student athlete who best demonstrates his/her commitment to excellence In academics and the game of soccer will be awarded The Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Scholarship. This scholarship seeks to reward students striving to develop their individual talents to further the common good of the team and community.

APPLICATION CRITERIA

The Scott Christian Memorial Scholarship is available to college bound high school senior soccer players (males and females) who have the intention of competing at the college level.
Scholarships are available to students who attend high schools in the Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Pendleton, and Bracken counties of Northern Kentucky.
All applicants must currently be either high school or club team players.
All applicants must have an overall Grade Point Average of 2.7 or better on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).

SELECTION CRITERIA

Scholarship applicants will be judged on academics, soccer ability, sportsmanship, ethics, enthusiasm, community involvement, and citizenship. There will be no consideration placed on race, color, creed, nationality, sex, or religious preference.
