Announcing the 2020 Scott Christian Memorial Scholarship Winners

Thank you to all the men and women who applied for the 2020 Scott Christian Memorial Scholarship.

We would like to congratulate the following 3 student-athletes on winning this year’s scholarship:

Maria Broering

The Board of the Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Foundation would like to congratulate Maria Broering on winning a scholarship from the Foundation! Maria will be graduating Highlands High School with outstanding academic achievements, including a perfect score on the ACT. On the pitch, Maria won the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award and was named an all-star on the 2nd Team by the Cincinnati Enquirer. After high school, Maria intends to continue her academic and athletic career at Ball State University. Her aspirations are to study Nutrition and become a registered dietitian. The Board is very excited to witness Maria’s growth both on and off the field. Congratulations Maria!

Cassidy Lett

The Board of the Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Foundation would like to congratulate Cassidy Lett on winning a scholarship from the Foundation! Cassidy will be a graduate of Larry A. Ryle High School with an incredible academic career, including a perfect 4.0 GPA. On the pitch, Cassidy was awarded several awards including being named on the 1st team All-State, as well as being named Team MVP. After high school, Cassidy accepted an offer to continue here academic and athletic career at Hanover College. The Board looks forward to watching Cassidy grow both on and off the field. Congrats Cassidy!

Trey Denigan

The Board of the Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Foundation would like to congratulate Trey Denigan on winning a scholarship from the Foundation! Trey will be a graduate of Larry A. Ryle High School. Trey posted a 4.36 GPA throughout his academic career at Ryle. Trey has been playing soccer for 16 years, and was a 4 year varsity letterman for the Raiders. His athletic and academic prowess stood out as he was named on the KHSAA Academic All-State Soccer Team. Trey will be continuing his academic and athletic career at Northern Kentucky University. The board looks forward to watching Trey on the pitch at NKU. Congratulations Trey!
