Announcing the 2021 Scott Christian Memorial Scholarship Winners

Thank you to everyone who applied for the 2021 Scott Christian Memorial Scholarship.

We would like to congratulate the following 4 student-athletes on winning this year’s scholarship:

Lillian Zehnder

The Board of the Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Foundation would like to congratulate Lillian Zehnder on winning a $5,000 scholarship from the Foundation! Lillian will be a graduate of Larry A. Ryle High School with an excellent academic record. Lillian boasts a perfect 4.0 unweighted GPA and scoring a 34 on her ACT. On the pitch, Lillian has been playing for 15 years and was a starter and assist leader for the Raiders. Although her senior season was derailed by an ACL tear, she intends on playing soccer at the collegiate level at either Centre College or Transylvania University. Lillian plans on becoming an orthopedic physician after graduation. The Board is very excited to watch Lillian grow on and off the pitch. Congratulations Lillian!

Noah Moeller

The Board of the Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Foundation would like to congratulate Noah Moeller on winning a $2,000 scholarship from the Foundation! Noah will be a graduate of Larry A. Ryle High School with an excellent academic record. Noah boasts a 3.79 unweighted GPA and scoring a 26 on his ACT. On the pitch, Noah has been playing for 15 years and was named KHSAA East Soccer Player of the Year, in addition to being named a Gatorade Soccer Player of the Year Nominee. His defensive prowess led Ryle to the Final Four last season. After high school, Noah plans on playing at the next level, but remains uncommitted. Noah plans on majoring in civil engineering while also obtaining his MBA. The Board is very excited to watch Noah grow on and off the pitch. Congratulations Noah!

Dominic Martin

The Board of the Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Foundation would like to congratulate Dominic Martin on winning a $2,000 scholarship from the Foundation!  Dominic will be a graduate of Villa Madonna High School with an excellent academic record. Dominic achieved a 3.97 unweighted GPA and a 34 on his ACT. On the soccer pitch, Dominic has been playing for 13 years and was named to the 2019 & 2020 Cincinnati Enquirer Honorable Mention team, in addition to winning the 2020 Scott Christian award. After high school Dominic, His offensive prowess led him to obtaining the offensive player of the region and 1st team All-State. After high school, Dominic plans on attending either Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology or Butler University to continue his academic and athletic career. The Board is very excited to watch Dominic grow on and off the pitch. Congratulations Dominic!

Ryleigh Lett

The Board of the Scott Christian Memorial Soccer Foundation would like to congratulate Ryleigh Lett on winning a $1,000 scholarship from the Foundation! Ryleigh will be a graduate of Randall K. Cooper High School with an excellent unweighted GPA of 3.72. On the soccer pitch, Ryleigh has played for 14 years and was named the team captain her senior year at Cooper. In addition, she was named to the 9th region Honorable Mention team. Off the pitch, Ryleigh plans on attending Muskingum University to further he soccer and academic career. The Board is very excited to watch Ryleigh grow on and off the pitch. Congratulations Ryleigh!
